In a colorway inspired by Michael Jordan’s college career at the University of North Carolina, The Air Jordan 1, high Obsidian/University Blue, was launched in 2019 for the iconic silhouette. Similar to the exclusive female colorway UNC Patent Leather released in February 2019, the glossy patent leather construction is replaced by grainsaw, obsidian and blue Univerity color block. In this autumn it is replaced by glossy patent leather style. Clean appearance was an instant success and Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe nowadays, the Air Jordan I High “Obidian/University Blue,” is another desired colorway.
